Jazz, TX is proud to present Houston, TX native Kate Kortum and her band as they celebrate the release of her sophomore album "Wild Woman"! As a sequel to her debut album "Good Woman", "Wild Woman" further solidifies Kortum as one of jazz's forefront rising young voices. Songwriter, arranger, and dynamic vocalist Kate Kortum brings fire, sensitivity, and fun to songbook classics and new favorites. Expect to hear classic tunes such as "I Feel Pretty" and "You Are There." Kortum has performed with legendary musicians including Peter Bernstein, Emmet Cohen, and Wynton Marsalis. Kate will be joined by her phenomenal band with Tyler Henderson on piano, Jared Beckstead-Craan on bass, and Max Marsillo on drums.
