The Jason Grant Quintet

San Antonio native Jason Grant brings a soulful, modern voice to the Jazz, TX stage. A veteran of the United States Army Band and a seasoned performer since the age of 17, Jason blends deep musical roots with contemporary influences, drawing inspiration from jazz-trumpet giants like Miles Davis, Roy Hargrove, and Marquis Hill. An alumnus of the UTSA School of Music and UT Austin’s Butler School of Music, Jason is now based in Austin, where he shares his passion for music as an elementary music teacher. Jason and his band will be performing original compositions and arrangements, mixing the classic, straight ahead jazz sounds with more modern, groove-based tunes, ensuring a night of music for all to enjoy.
