The Tommy Howard Organ Trio

The Tommy Howard Organ Trio is an Austin, TX based group and features Tommy Howard on guitar, Terry Bowness on organ, and legendary drummer Tom Brechtlein (Chick Corea, Wayne Shorter) on drums. They have been active in the Central Texas area for several years and have a wide ranging repertoire in the classic organ trio tradition. Everything from Jimmy Smith to Soundgarden. It’s going to be a party! Originally from San Antonio, Tommy Howard has been a mainstay on the Austin Music scene for over 20 years, performing with Tony Campise, Butch Miles, Dr. James Polk, Andre Hayward, Ephraim Owens, Elias Haslanger, and many others. In addition to leading his own groups, Howard is a member of the five time Austin Music Award-winning ensemble, Church On Monday. Howard’s debut trio album, Storybook, was released in 2017.
