Jazz, TX Presents: George & His New Heartaches

George Aschmann fiddles and sings electric honky-tonk and western swing, the sound of Ray Price, Bob Wills, and Lefty Frizzell. Twin electric guitars swing behind him and a string bass shuffles. The vocal harmonies cut through the room.

Aschmann formed the band in Berlin in 2024. They have toured Scandinavia, Germany, and the UK. In May they put out their first album, a self-titled record cut to tape at Lighting Recordings. New Orleans string player Coleman Akin joins on second fiddle for this tour.

As always, our kitchen and bar will be open for dinner service.
