Yotam Silberstein: A Global Jazz Guitar Experience

Yotam Silberstein is a globally acclaimed jazz guitarist whose sound fuses bebop, blues, and world rhythms into something vibrant, soulful, and completely unique. Yotam’s acclaimed releases include "Universos" and "En el jardín," a collaboration with Carlos “Negro” Aguirre, and he is also a member of the John Patitucci Trio. He has toured with Brazilian icon Ivan Lins and appeared on notable recordings such as Monty Alexander’s GRAMMY-nominated "Harlem-Kingston Express Live!" and David Sanborn and Marcus Miller’s "Time and the River." Silberstein has worked with jazz greats including George Coleman, Jimmy Heath, James Moody, Roy Hargrove, and Charles McPherson, and has performed at major festivals and venues worldwide such as the North Sea, Umbria, and Tokyo Jazz Festivals, as well as the Kennedy Center and Jazz at Lincoln Center. Born in Tel Aviv and based in New York, he was discovered by James Moody at a young age and has since earned praise from The New York Times and JazzTimes for his expressive playing and inventive compositions, drawing from a rich blend of global influences.
