Jose Amador & NATIAO Latin Jazz presents: Noche De Salsa & Boleros

Fri, Nov 06

Jose Amador plays more than one kind of night at Jazz, TX, so you can pick the one that fits your mood. Salsa Night is the regular, with the dance floor always open, and it has run monthly since the room opened in 2016. Noche de Salsa & Boleros slows down for love songs like "Sabor a Mí" and "Bésame Mucho," then picks the pace back up with salsa. Latin Jazz Night pairs him with Terra Nova, which plays Latin arrangements of tunes by Horace Silver, Dizzy Gillespie, and Herbie Hancock, plus originals. His tribute nights have honored Tito Puente, with "Ran Kan Kan," "Oye Como Va," and "Para Los Rumberos," and Buena Vista Social Club, with the Havana of the 1940s. NATIAO has played this room for ten years.

About Jazz TX

Jazz, TX is San Antonio's home for live jazz, tucked into the basement of the historic Pearl Brewery's Bottling Department. Founded in 2016 by bandleader and pianist Doc Watkins, the club picked up the torch of the city's great jazz rooms and quickly became its premier destination for live music. Seven nights of shows span jazz, blues, big band, Texas swing, salsa, and Latin jazz — from Doc Watkins and his ten-piece orchestra to world-class touring artists like Kevin Eubanks, Bill Charlap, and John Pizzarelli. Every show is an intimate, 90-minute ticketed concert. Come early for South Texas cuisine, craft cocktails, wine, and beer, and stay for the music. At Jazz, TX, the night is a celebration shared between the audience and the band. 312 Pearl Parkway, Building 6, Suite 6001, San Antonio, TX 78215 (210) 332-9386 Tuesday–Thursday 6–10 PM · Friday–Saturday 6 PM–midnight · occasional Sunday special shows
