Jazz, TX Presents:
Naama
Thu, Jun 12, 2025 - Thu, Oct 15, 2026

"Naama's voice evokes a honeyed warmth...swoops up and plummets down onto a lovestruck madness... her voice drifts onto a pillow of dreams" Cree McCree, Downbeat Magazine. Inspired by the emotionally direct compositions of Rodgers and Hart, Fields and Hugh, Cole Porter, and other great composers and lyricists of the 1940s and ’50s, Naama has established herself as a prominent voice in the New York City jazz scene. Possessed of an urbane and elegant sound, Naama’s sensitive interpretation and crisp phrasing have become recognizable elements of her signature style and timeless appeal. An honest and poignant performer, she has appeared at celebrated festivals and acclaimed jazz venues throughout the United States and internationally. Naama has released six full-length albums, most recently Dream With Me (La Reserve Records, 2025), praised by The New York City Jazz Record for “a vocal delivery consistently full of raw emotion.” She followed the album with two seasonal EPs: ’Tis Autumn in November 2025 and They Say It’s Spring in May 2026, continuing her exploration of the Great American Songbook through intimate, contemporary interpretations. In fall 2026, Naama will release Songs From the Road, a new full-length album inspired by travel, movement, and the places and experiences encountered along the way. Featuring Aaron Diehl, Kyle Poole, and Dave Baron, the album brings Naama’s distinctive storytelling approach to a collection of songs connected by a sense of journey and discovery. Throughout her catalog, Naama has collaborated with leading jazz musicians including Peter Bernstein, Aaron Diehl, Steve Nelson, Bruce Barth, David Wong, Adam Birnbaum, Jeb Patton, Simon Moullier, Jimmy Macbride, Itai Kriss, and others.A La Reserve Records artist since 2023, Naama has amassed more than 7 million streams across platforms. About Jazz TX
Jazz, TX is San Antonio's home for live jazz, tucked into the basement of the historic Pearl Brewery's Bottling Department. Founded in 2016 by bandleader and pianist Doc Watkins, the club picked up the torch of the city's great jazz rooms and quickly became its premier destination for live music. Seven nights of shows span jazz, blues, big band, Texas swing, salsa, and Latin jazz — from Doc Watkins and his ten-piece orchestra to world-class touring artists like Kevin Eubanks, Bill Charlap, and John Pizzarelli. Every show is an intimate, 90-minute ticketed concert. Come early for South Texas cuisine, craft cocktails, wine, and beer, and stay for the music. At Jazz, TX, the night is a celebration shared between the audience and the band. 312 Pearl Parkway, Building 6, Suite 6001, San Antonio, TX 78215 (210) 332-9386 Tuesday–Thursday 6–10 PM · Friday–Saturday 6 PM–midnight · occasional Sunday special shows
